Czech Children's Choir Campanella

The Embassy of the Czech Republic presents the Czech children’s choir Campanella on June 24, 2022, at 6 pm. The choir will perform a selection of folk songs from around the world, such as Prší, prší (Czech), La cucaracha (Mexican), Bodaj by vás (Slovak), Trpa no coqueiro (Brazilian), Dzüb, dzüb (Azerbaijani), among others. Enjoy an evening of international folk music performed by this celebrated choir.

The choir's most recent achievements include winning the Golden Award at the National Choir Competition (Czech Republic, 2019), 1st place at the International Music Festival in Neerpelt (Belgium, 2018), and the Golden Zone at the International Choir Competition Voce Magna in Žilina (Slovakia, 2017). The choir has a diverse repertoire, from liturgical and classical to folk and contemporary music. In its more than 50 years of establishment, the choir has performed in 200 concert tours to 41 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States.
