Easter Egg Hunt & Decorating

The Embassy of the Czech Republic presents Easter egg hunt and special egg decorating workshop on Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 11 am to 1:15 pm. Bring your little ones of all ages to celebrate the coming of Easter through Czech and American traditions.
An egg hunt in the Embassy’s spacious meadow garden will delight with Czech candies. Live bunnies will be available for cuddles and adoption through Friends of Rabbits. Children under 6 years old will decorate eggs with Miss Czech-Slovak of Kansas 2016 Sara Vytlacil. Sign up your elder ones (ages 6–12) for a special egg decoration workshop (11:00 am–11:45 pm OR 12:30 pm–1:15 pm) under the direction of folk artist Dagmar Benešová, who founded the Folk Art Academy in Břeclav, Czech Republic. The Academy specializes in teaching folk artisan skills on various materials.

Please bring your own basket and white hard boiled eggs for decorating!
In the event of inclement weather, the egg hunt would not take place, but other Easter activities will be held inside.
