Ibero-American Film Showcase 2022: Stories of Resilience and Overcoming

The Czech Embassy will feature films from the Ibero-American Film Showcase 2022: Stories of Resilience & Overcoming. Through the screenings in partnership with the Ibero-American Cultural Attachés Association, we hope to deliver a message of hope to today’s world, through feature films and/or documentaries of resilience and overcoming made by Ibero-American directors. All of the films have English subtitles.

Presented by the Embassy of Ecuador

Presented by the Embassy of Portugal
The documentary follows the last years of Nobel Prize winner José Saramago, chiefly through his relationship with his devoted wife Pilar del Río. Dir. Miguel Gonçalves, 117 minutes, 2010
