The Embassy of the Czech Republic invites you to a performance of heraldry and historic fencing by Period Productions’ Fight School on May 13, 2021, at 5:15pm (Show I) OR 7pm (Show II). Space is very limited, respecting local Covid-19 restrictions.

Come hither to honor the 705th anniversary of the birth of the revered Czech King and Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV. Thou shall not be sorry for gaining the knowledge! Under his rule from 1346-1378, Prague became the political, economic, and cultural center of the Holy Roman Empire in the Middle Ages. His mark on the great city, which is now the capital of the Czech Republic, is seen at every corner to this day. Sit you down and have a laugh!

The performance will take place in the Embassy’s spacious outside area. Each show is approximately sixty minutes.

About Period Productions: Period Productions presents a variety of entertainment, historical presentations, and unique craftsmanship. Its Fight School, a stage combat team, teaches the history of weapons and fighting via dangerous laughter and blunt comedy. The team has been together for more years than its fighters can count.
