Online conversation w/playwright Hadar Galron

Date: 16 December 2021 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM, Venue: Online

The Embassy of the Czech Republic, in collaboration with Classrooms Without Borders, invites you to join us online for a conversation with Hadar Galron on December 16, 2021, at 3:30 pm EST. Hadar will talk about her work in addition to her play My First Jewish Christmas (also known as Jewish Enough for Hitler).

For many years, the National Theatre of Prague was home to her play Mikveh, about women living in orthodox communities with their stories and secrets intertwining. She also co-wrote such features as The Secrets and Bruriah in which Hadar plays the leading role. In her work, she explores themes surrounding femininity, identity, orthodoxy, and sexuality. Check out the article "We Need to Dare to Be" about her latest work at: https://www.thejc.com/culture/features/we-need-to-dare-to-be-1.521722 (photo by Dana Ophir)
