Czech Language Courses and Studies in the Czech Republic

Opportunities to study in the Czech Republic for members of the Czech-American community have been impacted by Covid-19. However, please follow the updates on the website of the Center for International Cooperation in Education mentioned below.

Currently, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports offers 1 place for the applicant from within the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, DC, at the Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2022 in Pilsen (Plzeň). The course is usually 3 to 4 weeks long and it is held during the summer months. Applications for the Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2022 in Pilsen must be submitted to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, DC, by March 15, 2022. Please, email the copy of the application to jan_woska@mzv.cz

Additionally, the Center for International Cooperation in Education offers following courses:

  1. 4-week long language summer camp in the Czech Republic (July 18 – August 12, 2022).
  2. 2-week long course for teachers of the Czech language in the Czech Republic (August 22 - September 2, 2022).

 

Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2022 to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, DC, by March 15, 2022. Please, email the copy of the application to jan_woska@mzv.cz

The organization of the courses and the entry requirements to the Czech Republic might be affected by the development of the COVID-19 situation.
