Deputy Minister Dürr together with the Director-General for European Affairs of the German MFA Martin Kotthaus met the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Elizabeth Millard. In the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and National Security Council, they discussed current issues in the transatlantic relations and regional and energy security related issues with their counterparts.

Later they met with selected members of the House of Representatives, including the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Francis Rooney. On the margins of the joint consultations, Deputy Minister Dürr and Director-General Kotthaus participated in discussions with Brookings and Heritage experts.

Embassy of the Czech Republic hosted the second event of the Center for European Policy Analysis salon series in which DM Dürr participated in discussion with the former commander of U.S. Army Europe and current CEPA Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies, LTG (Ret.) Ben Hodges.

Deputy Minister Dürr met with the representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. State Department Director for South Central European Affairs Matthew Palmer and the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Kathleen Kavalec.
