The three day program, realized within the economic project “Cereals from Colored Wheat and Materials of the Future,” included meetings at the University of Maryland, George Washington University, Georgetown University, and the National Health Institute – National Cancer Institute a National Science Foundation. The experts also participated in public events, specifically at a panel discussion Genetics: Started by Mendel and at the EU Open House, both held at the Czech Embassy.
