About the Embassy

The Czech Embassy in Yangon represents the Czech Republic in Myanmar and promotes the political, economic, cultural and academic relations between both countries. The Embassy offers a limited consular service to Czech citizens.

The Czech Embassy in Yangon has been formally re-opened after 21 years on 14 February 2014. Since the beginning of the year 1993, when the Czech government decided to close the Embassy in Yangon, the Czech Republic had been represented by the Czech Embassy in Bangkok.
