The award ceremony took place in two schools whose students participated at the International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice - Myanmar International School and International School Yangon. In addition to the awarded students, the headmasters, the teachers and the parents of the awarded students were present at the small festive event. Myanmar Internatinal School even broadcasted it live on its Facebook and the Czech deputy head of mission gave an interview on the Lidice fine arts competition for the Sky Net TV.

Since its reopening in 2014, the Czech Embassy in Yangon has been trying to encourage the participation of Myanmar students, as well as participation of any students studying here in Myanmar in Lidice competition. Every year we register a rich attendance and for example the students from Myanmar International School have been already awarded for the third year in a row.

We hope that in the coming years we will be able to see even more smiling faces of young talented artists in such award ceremonies!
