Trade support institutions or trade promotion institutions are a good starting point when looking for business opportunities and company information. Therefore, it is helpful to obtain contact information on existing trade support institutions that can help find other sources, direct company contacts, business opportunities or other trade information.

The BusinessInfo.cz portal is the official Czech portal for business and exports, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. It helps foreign businesses navigate the Czech business environment. It provides information on the conditions for doing business and on investment and trade opportunities with Czech companies.

CzechTrade is the National Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Its main task is to assist companies in development of mutual trade and cooperation. Through its foreign as well as local offices, the agency provides trade information, practical assistance to exporters and foreign buyers, consultancy, educational programmes; it assists companies throughout trade fairs. The web site can also publish advertisements of foreign companies willing to enter the Czech market or searching for a partner.

CzechInvest, the Investment and Business Development Agency, is an agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Established in 1992, the agency contributes to attracting foreign investment and to the development of domestic companies through its services and development programmes. CzechInvest also promotes the Czech Republic abroad and acts as an intermediary between the EU and small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing structural funds in the Czech Republic. All CzechInvest’s services are free of charge.

Czech Chamber of Commerce is the national Chamber of Commerce representing the entrepreneurial public. It protects the interests of its members – small, medium and large enterprises associated in a network of regional chambers and trade associations. It is also a part of the WTC network - World Trade Center Prague. A subscriber service enables to accept requests (sales leads) from abroad if someone is looking for products or suppliers.The Czech Chamber of Commerce has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the UMFCCI in 2016.

The Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic is a voluntary organization associating employers and entrepreneurs in the field of industry and transportation. The web site provides a database of members that can be searched according to various criteria. The Confederation is also involved in organizing trade missions and match-making services for businesses. The Confederation has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the IBPC in 2016.
