Awarding the Armenian winners of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2021

On December 2, 2021, the Czech Ambassador to Armenia Bedřich Kopecký presented medals and diplomas to four out of eight Armenian winners of the 49th year of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2021 (ICEFA Lidice - https://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/en/). The awarding ceremony took place at the Dilijan Art School in Dilijan.

 

We are happy to announce that four young Armenian artists were awarded during the ceremony. This year’s winners of the “Rose of Lidice” medal from Armenia are Taguhi Soghoyan (13 years - https://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/images/49/4.jpg ) and Vahram Tovmasyan (9 years - https://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/images/49/3.jpg ). Erik Manucharyan (10 years - https://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/images/49/2.jpg) and Ruslan Sargsyan (9 years - https://www.mdvv-lidice.cz/images/49/1.jpg) were awarded the Honorable mention diploma. Ambassador Kopecký personally awarded the medals and handed the certificates and small gifts to talented young artists. The mayor of Dilijan was also present at the ceremony and delivered a speech.

 

Young artists from Yerevan and Gyumri who were also successful in this year’s competition will be awarded the diplomas in the course of December.

 

The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice, established in 1967, is one of the most well-known children art competitions.
