American Airlines is canceling flights in the peak summer travel season amid restrictions on travel and record low demand from passengers during the coronavirus pandemic. American Airlines is reducing capacity on international flights by more than 60% compared with last summer, after slashing capacity by 80% to 90% in April and May. It is hard to predict if these new lines will resume in 2021.
