Invitation to PIARC XXVIIth World Road Congress in Prague: October 2 to 6, 2023

The 27th edition of the PIARC Congress taking place in the Prague Congress Center in October 2023  is entitled ‘Together on the Road Again’ and it aims to offer a holistic view of the road sector current situation and future trends. The Congress will address a large spectrum of issues related to road infrastructure and road transport across the globe such as performance of transport administration, road and transport planning for economic and social development, finance and procurement, climate change and resilience of road networks, disaster management as well as many other topics related to mobility, safety and security or resilient infrastructure.

The congress, which will be attended by 3,000 to 5,000 delegates, mostly from abroad, will present the latest trends and technologies in the road transport sector. While the Prague congress is running, the Ministers of Transport from the almost 130 member countries of the association will meet to share their insights and discuss the challenges posed by the  modernisation of their national road  infrastructure.

Whilst the fair will enable contact with international stakeholders from the field and it will facilitate match-making between providers and users, it will also give access to a several technical visits around the Czech Republic.
