Under the project program, the delegation was accepted by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Cameroon, Mr. Henrim Eyebe Ayissi. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the growing relations and the interest in continuing cooperation in the field of agriculture. The ongoing mission continued on the incoming mission of representatives of the Cameroonian agricultural sector, which took place in the Czech Republic in March 2017, when the Cameroon delegation visited a number of Czech companies, and became acquainted with the possibilities of the Czech agricultural and food sector.

The Cameroonian Minister of Agriculture recalled the good old Czechoslovak-Cameroonian relations and picked up the wealth of Cameroon in the field of primary agricultural crops, which needs to be processed at home. In this context, he expressed interest in the relevant technologies, equipment and facilities necessary for the construction of the manufacturing sector and small agricultural machinery.

The Delegation then met with the Director and representatives of the newly established Chamber of Commerce of Cameroon - the Czech Republic, who introduced its activities and its priority areas of interest fro the future, including agribusiness.

In the framework of the program, the delegation visited a fish farm delegation, met with leading Cameroonian entrepreneurs in the field of chicken farming and processing, egg production, feed production, livestock production, oil palm, bananas, coffee, rubber and exotic wood growers. In the framework of the following business seminar, both parties exchanged experience in their business areas and established contacts. The Czech side also presented portfolios of other interested Czech companies that could not participate in this mission for reasons of time.
