Czech company successfully responds to potential of medical use of cannabis in Thailand

One of the priorities of the current Thai Government and Thai Ministry of Public Health in particular is expansion of domains linked with medical use of cannabis and cannabinoids.

The leading role in this sphere on the international as well as on the Czech level plays Prague-based International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute (ICCI), which has recently concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on further cooperation with the Chulalongkorn University (CHU) in Bangkok. For the Czech side the MoU has been signed by ICCI CEO - Mr. Pavel Kubů - and for the Thai side by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Chulalongkorn University - Ms. Rungpetch Sakulbumrungsil.

ICCI is the first "center of excellence" in the Czech Republic involved in the cannabis medical use consultancy and advocacy. Its unique combination of know-how in the fields of medical R&D and practice, broad international experience with lawmaking and fight against drug abuse as well as knowledge of cannabis growing and processing enables ICCI to become an exceptional partner of state administration, academic institutions and private business.
