The Night of Literature 2023 in Copenhagen

This year, Czech Embassy in Copenhagen also decided to be part of a traditional and popular event throughout the Czech Republic celebrating book culture and the power of translation skills – The Night of Literature. The exceptional event will take place on September 20, 2023 from 7 p.m., Residence of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Copenhagen, Ryvangs Allé 14, 2100 Copenhagen. 

The event will consist of book excerpts presentations of contemporary Czech authors - Magdalena Platzová's book: Life after Kafka and Petra Soukupová's book: The Weird Kids Club. 

We are happy that the leading actors of the Czech theater scene, Ms. Hana Holišová and Mr. Daniel Bambas, have accepted our invitation and will do the reading show. 

The texts will be read in the Czech language, in parallel also available in Danish. 

Entry: free. The number of places is limited.
