As the title suggests, the film takes place in a little sleepy north-Moravian village.  We will meet a young teacher Maruna (T. Vilhelmová), who besides serving the regulars in the local pub spends her time with an undecided mayor Jura (I.Trojan), a naive outsider Olin (J. Plesl ) or arguing with her imperious mother (J. Tesařová).
