Approved Small Local Projects for 2024

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic together with Czech Development Agency approved one Small-scale local development project to be implemented in Bangladesh in 2024. The project will be carried out by a Bangladeshi based CSO Global One will aim to build and empower a community of women resilient to climate change in the river island (char) region to help eradicate poverty and increase their chance to become financially independent through agro farming. The Czech development aid funding is 421 000 CZK.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi has obtained over 105 applications from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives. Only 31 applications have met the conditions of the call for proposal of Small-scale local development projects for 2024 and were further assessed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Czech Development Agency.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi would like to thank all applicants who have submitted their proposals. The information about the call for proposals for Small-scale local development projects for 2025 will be published in August/September 2024 on the website of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.
