Screening of the film The Bleeding Edge and discussion with Anastasia Lin

On 20th September, the Czech Centre in Stockholm organized another event in the series of screening films followed by discussions about human rights. This time the participants had an opportunity to watch the film The Bleeding Edge and to take part in a discussion with its main protagonist and Miss World Canada, Anastasia Lin.
The film is based on real events and depicts forced organ harvesting which the European Parliament denounced in its resolution “European Parliament resolution on organ harvesting in China” in 2013 (http://1url.cz/7tol5).
The screening was followed by a discussion with Anastasia Lin, the star of the film, who is using her fame to highlight the illegal organ trade.
After the discussion Czech wine was served and participants could share their impressions.
