Czechia delivered a material gift to Lithuania to tackle the illegal migration from Belarus

On 24 July 2021, a Czech convoy arrived in Lithuania with a material donation of CZK 3.2 million in connection with an influx of illegal migrants from Belarus.

The donation was provided through the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and was handed over to the Lithuanian side in the Medininkai district near the Lithuanian-Belarusian border. It included tents (20 pcs.), folding beds with mattresses (100 pcs.), blankets (500 pcs.), heaters (20 pcs.) and sleeping bags (500 pcs.).
