Region západního Balkánu, včetně Srbska, patří mezi dlouhodobé zahraničně-politické priority České republiky. Na podporu integrace Srbska do euroatlantických struktur přispělo Velvyslanectví v Londýně k realizaci stejnojmenného projektu organizace Jagello 2000 uspořádáním neformální diskuse. Vedle velvyslance Republiky Srbské v Londýně Dejana Popoviće se zúčastnili Zoran Vujić, bezpečnostní náměstek ministra zahraničních věcí Srbska, Zoran Jeftić, náměstek ministra obrany Srbska, Sonja Stojanović, ředitelka Bělehradského centra pro bezpečnostní politiku a Bojan Brkić, zástupce hlavního editora veřejnoprávního vysílání RTS (Radio Television Serbia. )

Ve večerních hodinách potom členové delegace vystoupili na půdě London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) s přednáškou na téma „Deset let po pádu Miloševiće: jak může Srbsko přispět ke stabilizaci západního Balkánu?“

The Western Balkans region represents one of the long-term priorities of the foreign policy priorities of the Czech Republic. The Czech Embassy in London has contributed towards a successful integration of Serbia in the Euro Atlantic structures by active participation in a project co-organized by a Czech non-profit organization Jagello 2000).

The Ambassador Žantovský organized an informal discussion which was attended by a high-level delegation from Serbia.Together with Dejan Popović, the Ambassador of Republic of Serbia also Zoran Vujić, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs (for the security policy agenda), Zoran Jeftić, State Secretary of Ministry of Defence of Serbia, Sonja Stojanović, Director of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and Bojan Brkić, Deputy Editor in Chief RTS (Radio Television Serbia) participated. Members members of the London corpsdiplomatique, a number of esteemed academics and journalists attended, too.

Later the delegation engaged in one of the public events in the prestigious forum of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) titled “Ten Years After Milošević: How Can Serbia Contribute to the Stabilisation of the Western Balkans?”
