National Day Celebrations at Sokol Sydney and performance by Jiří Krhut.

On October 28, 2023, the Czech and Slovak community celebrated the anniversary of the foundation of an independent Czechoslovakia in 1918 at Sokol Sydney in the presence of representatives of the Consulates-General of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic in Sydney.
After initial speeches, the national anthems of both countries were played. This was followed by a collective toast to mark the anniversary.
The evening was rounded out by a cultural performance of Czech entertainer and songwriter Jiří Krhut, which was made possible and arranged by Sokol Sydney.
