Short-term Visa (up to 90 days)
All Schengen Visa Applications for travels to the Czech Republic are to be submitted exclusively through the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Bangkok.
The Schengen visa applications can be submitted upon appointment arranged with the VFS Global.
Visa application is to be submitted not less than 15 days and not more than 6 months prior to the intended departure for the Czech Republic.
Schengen visa applicants from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar might submit their applications at the Embassy of France (in Phnom Penh, Vientiane or Yangon) that is representing the Czech Republic in this respect.
Only the following categories of applicants may submit a Schengen visa application directly at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok based on an appointment arranged previously by email via bangkok.visa@mzv.gov.cz and held not less than 15 days and not more than 6 months prior to the intended departure for the Czech Republic:
- Family members of EU citizens
- Diplomatic/Service Passport holders
- Members of official delegations
- Family members of the staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague
- Persons traveling on urgent humanitarian basis
The Schengen visa application fee is set to 80 EUR (payable in THB).
