State Secretary Stašek Received the Ambassador of Norway

On behalf of the Foreign Minister, the State Secretary Miloslav Stašek received the Ambassador of Norway Siri Ellen Sletner. The meeting took place on August 15, 2018 on the occasion of termination of the Ambassador's diplomatic mission in the Czech Republic.
The State Secretary described the bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Norway as very good and appreciated highly the Ambassador's personal contribution to developing and deepening bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural field. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the results of bilateral trade, which is a driving force of Czech-Norwegian cooperation and is steadily growing. The turnover in trade between both countries reached almost 25 billion CZK in 2017.
