The aim of the small scale project implemented by the Representative Office and the Ittihad hospital was the rehabilitation of storage facilities and the drainage system of the hospital. The hospital which is managed by the Arab Women Union Society also hosts an orphanage or a kindergarden. Thanks to the Czech project, the hygienic conditions of the hospital were successfully improved.

This was the second project of the Czech development cooperation with the Ittihad hospital in Nablus. Last year, a system of solar panels was installed on the roof of the hospital through a common project of the Czech Development Agency and the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority.
