Heads of European diplomatic missions visited Arab American University in Jenin

The Head of the Representative Office Petr Starý, together with representatives of other European diplomatic missions in Palestine, visited on the 25 October 2021 the northernmost Palestinian governorate of Jenin. With the management of the Arab American University, headed by its President Professor Ali Zedan Abouzuhri, they discussed the possibilities of establishing cooperation with European universities.
The Arab American University was founded in 2000 and currently has thirteen thousand students studying in fifteen faculties. The main, modern campus is located in Jenin, within sight of the border with Israel, while a second campus has been established in Ramallah. The university focuses mainly on medical and technical disciplines, currently cooperates with universities from fifteen mainly European countries and is interested in further expanding this cooperation, especially in the form of teacher and student exchanges.
