Photos from Czech community at the Shanghai in Foreign Expats' Eyes exhibition

On October 26, 2022, the Shanghai Art Collection Museum (SACM) opened the Shanghai in Foreign Expats' Eyes Visual Exhibition (Changing Part), which included photos from members of the Czech community in China.

The exhibition is co-organized by Changning Information Office and Changning Foreign Affairs Office and implemented by SACM. As the name suggests, the main topic was the Changning district, which is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Shanghai. It is home to approximately 20% of the city's international community. At the same time, there are 27 consulates general in Changning, including the Czech one, and almost 7,000 enterprises with foreign financing.

Foreign expats from more than 30 countries sent over 1,000 photos to SACM, from which almost 130 photos were finally selected for the exhibition itself. Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Shanghai, in cooperation with other V4 states and SACM, prepared a special V4 section as part of the exhibition. Almost 40 photographs from members of the V4 community in China were exhibited, including 9 photos from Czech citizens.

The exhibition Shanghai in Foreign Expats' Eyes Visual Exhibition (Changning Part) can be visited until November 27, 2022 at the Shanghai Art Collection Museum at 1731 West Yan'an Road, Shanghai. The museum is located inside Tianshan Park.
