Third Committee of the UN General Assembly in Session

The main annual deliberations of the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly are taking place in New York between September 29 and November 11, 2022.

There are around 50 resolutions concerned predominantly with human rights being negotiated within the Third Committee this year, as well as nearly 90 different interactive dialogues with mandate holders and representatives of the UN system. The Czech Republic actively speaks on human rights defense, both in its national capacity and in coordination with other EU member states.
