Czech President sent the Condolences Telegram to the King

H.E. Mr. Miloš Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, sent to His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan condolences telegram on the death of the Jordanian military pilot Flight Lieutenant Muath Al-Kasasbeh.

Your Majesty,

It is with great sadness and shock that I learnt of the death of the Jordanian military pilot, Flight Lieutenant Muath Al-Kasasbeh. I have been following his case since he was captured by the terrorists from the so called Islamic state and hoped that his life would be saved. Unfortunately, the young brave soldier was brutally murdered by the coward barbarians.

On behalf of the people of the Czech Republic, I would like to convey to you, to the family of Muath Al-Kasasbeh and to all Jordanians the deepest sympathy at this sad time.

In this context, I would like to express my appreciation and support to the effort of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the fight against terrorism. This fight can only be successful, if all the civilised world, including the Muslim countries, stands united. The name of Muath Al-Kasasbeh will always be remembered as a symbol of the fight against terrorism.

With highest considerations,

Miloš Zeman

President of the Czech Republic
