According to the last information by the Czech Police, 14 people were killed and 25 wounded during the shooting in the building of the Charles University in Prague on December 21, 2023. The gunman is dead and represents no other danger to citizens and tourists in Prague.

Following the tragic event, the police of the Czech Republic have set up an emergency number for the public and students' relatives and friends: +420 974 823 158. Operators communicate both in Czech and English.
