Mr. Guneet Chaudhary - Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chandigarh (India)

Major Guneet Chaudhary worked as a Cavalry Officer of Indian Armoured Corp of Indian Army. He obtained MBA LLB MA post graduate diploma in intellectual property and cyber law from Punjab University. 

Major Guneet Chaudhary is a Law graduate from the Punjab University. He is a Post Graduate in Public Administration and an MBA from the Punjab University. He also has Post Graduate Diplomas in Cyber laws and in Intellectual Property, to his credit. He is enrolled as an Advocate with the Supreme Court of India. He has a fifteen year experience of handling litigation matters in the apex and trial courts of India. He has successfully handled number of International Arbitration matters at ICC, AAA and in India as per the Indian Arbitration Act. His expertise is in International Commercial law, Procurement, Joint Ventures, Renewable Energy Resources, Infra Structure Development and Real Estate Projects in India. He has also been handling legal matters relating to Defence Procurement by the Government of India.

He is Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, member of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), Chairman of the Corporate Law Committee of the Management Association. He is member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association and LAWASIA.

As the honorary consul of the Czech Republic in Chandigarh, Mr. Chaudhary is now able to use these contacts and experience to promote collaboration between India and the Czech Republic in terms of legal affairs, trade and bilateral investment.
