Celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia

On October 16, 2018, the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, organized jointly by the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Skopje, took place at the premises of the Macedonian Philharmonic.
 

After the introductory speech of ambassadors Miroslav Toman and Henrik Markus, a concert of the Czech-Slovak duo, Petr Nouzovsky (violoncello) and Miriam Rodriguez Brüll (guitar) followed. Two young artists, in front of the crowded hall, played the compositions of Sylvie Bodor, Maurice Ravel, Manuel de Falla and Radames Gnatalli.

About 300 guests, including the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, T. Xhaferi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior O. Spasovski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs B. Osmani and Minister of Foreign Affairs N. Dimitrov attended the celebration.
