New possibility of using credit/debit cards to pay visa and consular fees

Starting May 1, 2021 it is possible to pay the visa and consular fees  at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana by credit/debit cards.

Cash payments (in euro) are also accepted, the card payment is just another option.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has started this new service in a period when it is necessary to limit risks of pandemic, including a possible disease transmission by cash payments. Card payments are  also safer regarding cash manipulation.

The fees paid by debit/credit cards will be charged in Czech crowns (consular fees) or in euro (some visa fees), in case of foreign clients in current rates set by their banks.

Updated fees can be found here.
