Resumption of all long-term visa and residence procedures

In conformity with the newly announced restrictive measure against the Covid19 pandemic valid from the 30th of September 2021 the Czech Embassy in Ulaanbaator is fully resuming all types of “D” visa (long-term visa), long-term and permanent residency applications.

Employee cards

We advise the public that employee card applications outside the government program for Mongolia (“režim Mongolsko”) will be processed only according to available quota of 14 applications per month.

From the 8th of October 2021 onwards, a total of 28 slots (for the period of two months from the 8th of October till the 10th of December 2021) will be available for employee card applications outside the government program for Mongolia (“režim Mongoslko”). The public will be informed once the quota of 28 reservations (application slots) is reached. The public will also be informed in timely manner regarding the resumption of slot reservations for upcoming months.

We remind the public that reservation slots for employee card applications outside the government program for Mongolia (“režim Mongoslko”) are strictly for applicants who are not part of this government program. In case any applicant from the government program “režim Mongolsko” appears in one of the 28 reservation slots, he/she will be taken out from the 28 slot quota.

Long term-visa applications for the purpose of studies or other

We advise the applicants for study visa and other (language courses) to obtain new/up-to date acceptance letters reflecting the evaluation period (usually 2 months) of their applications. This is due to the fact that the two month evaluation (decision) period may have impact on the date of enrolment (beginning of the studies/courses).

Long-term visa for the purpose of family (reunification)

The renewal of long-term visa applications for the purpose of family reunification now concerns all types of family members of employee card/long-term visa/residence holders (i.e. parents and children over 18 years of age).
