Saint Nicholas found his way back to the Czech children in Jordan

Despite the fact that the tempreture is still far above zero, the winter time and the beginning of Advent in Jordan has been announced with the traditional arrival of Saint Nicholas, Angel and Devils who were cordialy welcomed by H.E. Petr Hladik, the Czech Ambassador to Jordan, on December 1st at his residence.

After the children bravely stood face to face to St. Nicholas, who praised them for their good deeds, they were rewarded with a small gift. Yet even the Devils did not want to come in short, so any tiny children´s slumber was a reason to try to get at least some of the little rascals for hell. But because Saint Nicholas is forgiving and the children have promised to correct all the mischiefs, the Devils finally pulled out with the empty hands.

Not only the Saint Nicholas, Angel and the Devils, but also the Christmas carols, a lit tree, tempting cookies, the smell of cinnamon, cloves and oranges, and especially time spent with  friends ... all this meant that the Friday night at the residence had the real atmosphere of the most beautiful holidays of the year. So: Merry and Peaceful Christmas to everyone, whether it is in Jordan, the Czech Republic or anywhere else in the world!
