Extent of Visa Services

Since September 6, 2021, Albania belongs to very high risk countries (dark red), therefore there is a limited extent of visa services.

Since September 6, 2021, based on the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health, only a limited extent of visa and services can be applied the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana. There are limitations particularly on Schengen visas, long-term visas and residence permits do not apply any restrictions (since September 30, 2021).  A detailed list of the services can be found in point III at the article VISAS: Open/closed consulates, extent of visa services.

There is an exception for fully vaccinated persons who can apply for all types of visas. Fully vaccinated means = at least 14 days after administration of a second dose, in case of a two-phased vaccine, the vaccine must be approved by EU and be administred in one of the countries whose vaccination certificate CZE recognizes.

We ask for applicants´ cooperation in observing hygienic rules when visiting theEmbassy. Applicants will be required to use hands´ disinfection, wear face masks and maintain at least 2 meters distance
